Where did eConnect go?
Readers may notice that our weekly email has undergone a change in both format and name: eConnect has become Kansas Physician. In an effort to enhance our ability to communicate in a timely and efficient manner, the KMS Council voted recently to transition away from printed newsletters.
We’ve also chosen to simplify our communications strategy by paring down to one publication–this one–which you’ll receive weekly via email during the legislative session. Once the legislature goes home, and the pace of information slows somewhat, we’ll reduce the frequency of our mailings, but you can be assured of receiving at least one electronic Kansas Physician each month.
In partnership with the new format of Kansas Physician, KMS also recently launched our newly-designed website. The new site is intended to be a relevant and up-to-date resource on a variety of topics.
The Council believes strongly that it is important for KMS to provide information to our members in the most timely and cost-effective manner possible. The transition to electronic publications will not only accomplish that goal but also provides real-dollar, annual savings for our organization. We are excited about this new frontier and the opportunities it provides us to better serve you.
