Medical spas
RESOLVED, That the KMS Executive Committee appoint a Medical Spa Task Force to conduct a comprehensive study on medical spas and other aesthetic facilities in Kansas, and make recommendations on the appropriate regulation of such facilities and the personnel working in them, on the responsibilities of physicians who serve as medical directors of such facilities, and on ways to promote quality and patient safety in such facilities; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Medical Spa Task Force report its findings and recommendations to the Council, including any recommendations for changes in laws or regulations necessary to protect the public.
