RESOLVED, The Kansas Medical Society strongly supports liability reform efforts at the federal level, so long as such reforms contain provisions which have been proven to be effective, such as a $250,000 cap on non-economic damages; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Kansas Medical Society urges our congressional delegation to only support liability reforms which are equal to or stronger than current Kansas liability reform laws.
