Dietary supplements
RESOLVED, That the Kansas Medical Society endorse the position and recommendations of the AMA relating to assuring the safety and efficacy of dietary supplements used for human consumption; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Kansas Congressional delegation be urged to support changes in the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act to require that dietary supplements and herbal remedies undergo FDA approval for evidence of safety and efficacy.
