SB 211: Pharmacists and the dispensing of certain prescriptions

    Description

    • The bill would allow a pharmacist to provide up to a three-month supply for a prescription drug only if the prescriber has written the prescription for a smaller amount and also included a sufficient number of refills for a three-month supply. Prescription drugs for the purposes of this bill will not include controlled substances or psychotherapeutic drugs.
