SB 158: Non-economic damages
Description
- The bill adds two new sections to state law covering the process for awarding, or not awarding, non-economic danages and punitive damages in civil lawsuits. The proposal identifies the size of economic awards and differentiates the judicial standards, instructions and process for awarding such judgments
