HB 2340: Casino smoking ban exemptions

Description

  • This bill now contains the contents of another smoking-related bill (HB 2039). The current state smoking ban includes a number of exceptions; one such exemption allows smoking on the gaming floors of state gambling facilities. This bill would now remove that exemption and prohibit smoking in gambling facilities.

  • The bill, in its original form, would add bars that sell lottery tickets to the list of facilities who are exempt from the statewide smoking ban
