HB 2040: Local health department funding
Description
- Changes the method by which state assistance to local health departments is calculated when local tax revenues allotted to local health departments are reduced. Currently, the state contribution is reduced equal to any local reduction on a matching dollar to dollar basis. The bill would change the reduction to a percentage basis.
