As a heavily rural state, Kansas faces tough challenges in providing quality health care to all of its residents. KMS’s objective is to maintain and enhance the accessibility, affordability, and quality of health care in our state. The physician community understands the seriousness of the financial challenges facing Kansas, and that there are no easy decisions for policymakers when it comes to balancing the needs of the state with the resources which are available.
